Estonian manors
Maart in Kirchspiel Jegelecht, Harrien

The estate was first mentioned in 1397 and was, during long periods, associated with the von Fersens, Bohns and von Breverns. The two-storey Baroque house was constructed according to the drawings of Jacob Stael von Holstein in the 1660s, and was slightly reconstructed (also made longer) in the 18th and 19th centuries.

The building now belongs to the Bank of Estonia and has been renovated. Additional information: http://www.maardumois.com/index2.php , maardu@epbe.ee, ph. +372 668 0800, +372 609 8475.

By the historical distribution the manor was in Jõelähtme Parish in Harjumaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to the Jõelähtme Municipality in Harjumaa County.
