Estonian manors
Wechmuth in Kirchspiel St. Johannis, Jerwen

The estate was founded in the second half of the 17th century has belonged to the von Hoeppeners, von Tiesenhausens, von Baumgartens, von Essens and Zoege von Manteuffels. The stylish Classicist complex was constructed around 1810. The wooden main building was rather modest, but the Classicist gate building is more impressive. The manor centre is now privately owned, and some of the buildings are in ruins.

Near the manor complex, there is the family cemetery of the estate owners.

By the historical distribution the manor was in Järva-Jaani in Järvamaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to the Tamsalu Municipality in Lääne-Virumaa County.
