Pennijöggi in Kirchspiel Leal, Wiek

The manor was established at the beginning of the 17th century, but the single-storey stone main building was completed in the 18th century. In 1830s, the wooden first floor was added and the building was rebuilt in the Classicist style.

Currently, the centre of the Matsalu Nature Reserve and a museum are located in the manor. Additional information: muuseum@matsalu.ee, ph. +372 472 4220, +372 472 4236.


By the historical distribution the manor was in Lihula Parish in Läänemaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to the Lihula Municipality in Läänemaa County.
