The estate was established in 1601 and it has belonged to the von Wolffeldts, von Kruedeners and also the von Stryks. The two-storey Late-Classicist main building was completed in 1830. It now houses a vocational school. For the latter purpose the building was reconstructed into a three-storey one and, it also got a number of annexes. A couple of kilometres from the centre of the estate, there is the family cemetery of von Stryks (now ravaged).
