In the Middle Ages, the estate belonged to the cathedral chapter of Tartu. Later it was related to the Meyers, Boyes, von Zaluskys and von Seydlitz'es. The one-storey house built in the beginning of the 19th century was reconstructed into a two-storey one in the 20th century to house a school.
