Estonian manors
Saggad in Kirchspiel Haljall, Wierland

The manor was first mentioned in 1469 as a possession of the von Risbiters. Later, it belonged to the von Focks for a long period of time. The single-storey Baroque stone main building, established in the middle of the 18th century, was rebuilt in the Early-Classicist style at the end of the same century.

Numerous luxurious outbuildings, including the gate tower, also originate from that time. The manor, which was restored in the 1970s-80s, belongs to the State Forest Management Centre, and it accommodates the Forest Museum, a hotel, a restaurant and a training centre.
