Estonian manors
Kawershof in Kirchspiel Karolen, Kreis Werro

The estate was first mentioned in 1541 and it has belonged to the Kawers, Golovins, von Brüggens and von Grotes. In the 1850s, a stylish Neo-Renaissance main building was constructed on the estate (rebuilt and now operating as a schoolhouse). A magnificent 19th century industrial complex (called Mäemõisa) is located 2.5 km west of the manor together with its numerous production buildings.

By the historical distribution the manor was in Karula Parish in Võrumaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to the Karula Municipality in Valgamaa County.
