The estate was first mentioned in 1473. It later belonged to von Oettingens for a long time. The two-storey Heimat-style main building (now privately owned) was completed at the beginning of the 20th century (after the fire in 1932 rebuilt). A modest and small building from the 19th century, believed to be the previous main building, has been preserved.
