The manor, which was first mentioned in 1489, has been associated with the von Scharenbers, the von Hastfers, the von Rehbinders and the von Baggehufwudts for longer periods. In the 1820s, one of the most luxurious High-Classicist manor houses, now used as a hotel, was built there. The interior paintings from the end of the 19th century are also worth seeing.
