The manor was first mentioned in 1453. Only some ruins have remained of the Baroque castle, established by the von Scharenbergs in the 17th century. The current historicist main building originates mostly from the 19th and the 20th century. Now, the manor is privately owned. After it was restored, it became a site for festive events.
