The manor house was first mentioned in 1586 and at the end of the 19th century it belonged to the von Gernets. The modest one-storey wooden main building was constructed at the end of the 19th century.

By the historical distribution the manor was in Järva-Jaani Parish in Järvamaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to the Järva-Jaani Municipality in Järvamaa County.
