The manor was first mentioned in 1623 and mainly the noble families Taube, Pilar von Pichau, von Dahl and von Lilienfeld have been involved with it. The earlier main building was burnt down in 1905 and was changed into a curb-roofed building during its reconstruction. Today it is being used as a care home.

By the historical distribution the manor was in Pärnu-Jaagupi Parish in Pärnumaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to the Halinga Municipality in Pärnumaa County.
