The manor was founded at the end of the 16th century, and was later connected with the von Manteuffels for a long time. The stone main building with an attic was erected in the 19th century but later rebuilt. In the 20th century, the Jõgeva Plant Breeding Station was founded on the foundation of the estate centre.
