Founded at the beginning of the 18th century, the estate belonged to the noble family of de Villebois. The small flush joint eclectic main building was constructed of bricks in the second half of the 19th century. The family cemetery of de Villebois' with a funeral chapel (now destroyed) was located in the far end of the park.

By the historical distribution the manor was in Võnnu Parish in Tartumaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to the Võnnu Municipality in Tartumaa County.
