The manor, first mentioned in 1515, belonged in the Middle Ages to the Tartu bishop and was later associated with the Axelsons, Balks and von Wulfs. The Heimat style main building, constructed in 1913, belongs to the Estonian University of Life Sciences. The old two-storey main building, probably built in the 1820s and 30s, has also been preserved in a slightly modified form (currently used for flats).
