The manor was first mentioned in 1521, when it belonged to the Zoeges. Later the manor was associated with the von Lipharts, von Ungern-Sternbergs and von Sivers'es. The two-storey main building was constructed on the manor grounds probably around the year 1800 and today it houses a school.

By the historical distribution the manor was in Kambja Parish in Tartumaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to the Kambja Municipality in Tartumaa County.
