The manor house was established in the 16th century and it has been related to the von Clodts and von Bocks. A Baroque wooden main building (now plastered) with a mansard hipped roof was constructed in the middle of the 18th century, while the 19th century saw an annex added. For a long time, the building housed a school, but now it is privately owned.

Near the main estate, at the side along the Viljandi road is the family cemetery of the von Bock family.

By the historical distribution the manor was in Paistu Parish in Viljandimaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to the Paistu Municipality in Viljandimaa County.
