The estate was founded in about 1800 and was connected with von the Dehns. The single-storey older part of the main building made of stone dates back to the beginning of the 19th century, whereas the two-storey addition was probably erected in about 1900. It is currently in private possession.

By the historical distribution the manor was in Rakvere Parish in Virumaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to the Rakvere Municipality in Lääne-Virumaa County.
