The stone main building was constructed on the estate, which had been first mentioned in 1480, in the second half of the 19th century. The building was partly reconstructed in the 20th century.

By the historical distribution the manor was in Jõhvi Parish in Virumaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to the Illuka Municipality in Ida-Virumaa County.
