The estate was established in the 17th century and it belonged to the noble family of von Weiss for a long time. The stone-made main building was constructed in the 19th century in different stages (the two-storey part is newer). It is now privately owned.

By the historical distribution the manor was in Viru-Nigula Parish in Virumaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to the Viru-Nigula Municipality in Lääne-Virumaa County.
