The manor house was established in 1748, for most of the time it was owned by the von Maydell family. In 1847, an impressive Neo-Renaissance main building was completed, of which only the left-side part remains (now privately owned). In the farther part of the manor park (once a forest park), there is the family graveyard of the von Maydells.
